Simsbury Bank’s Bloomfield Branch Staff Participates in Strawberry Festival

SIMSBURY, CT – August 9, 2013 – Simsbury Bank’s was pleased to host a booth at the Strawberry Festival held at the United Methodist Church in Bloomfield on June 15th.  The staff of Simsbury Bank Bloomfield branch and others handed out free popcorn and candy as well as piggy banks to children.  Children also colored strawberry-related pictures for a coloring contest with prizes awarded to winners in two weeks after voting by visitors to the Bank’s Bloomfield office at 864 Cottage Grove Road.

Ken Sklodosky, Sr. Market Manager of the Bank’s Bloomfield office, said, “The branch staff truly enjoys participating in community events.  We love to talk with the children who visit our booth and to answer any questions for adults as to how we can help them achieve their financial goals.”  

Jiselle Manning, age 4, won in the age 5-and-under category, where the prize was a Hippo Bubble machine and a Mr. Potato Head and Caprice Gaulteau, age 7, won in the age 6-8 category, where the prize was an Angry Birds K’nex building set.
