SBT Bancorp Announces Quarterly Dividend

SIMSBURY, CT – May 23, 2014 – The Board of Directors of SBT Bancorp, Inc., (OTCBB: SBTB, CUSIP 78391C106), the holding company of Simsbury Bank, declared on May 21, 2014 a quarterly common stock cash dividend of $0.14 per share.  The dividend will be payable on June 13, 2014 to shareholders of record on June 2, 2014.

Robert J. Bogino, Chairman of the SBT Bancorp and Simsbury Bank boards, said, “The Board of Directors and management of SBT Bancorp remain confident in the continued long term growth of the Bank’s earnings.  We anticipate strong contribution to that growth from our mortgage operations as well as our commercial and retail lines of business.  This dividend declaration by the directors of SBT Bancorp is reflective of that confidence in the future of our Company.  We thank our shareholders for their support.”
