Assists in the supervision of the day-to-day operations of the branch. Assumes responsibility for entire branch office during absence of Branch Manager/Market Manager. Sells and cross-sells Bank products and services.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for collection of mortgage and consumer loan accounts following all FDCPA guidelines and practices as well as investor (FNMA and FHLMC) guidelines. Assists VP of Lending Administration with initiating legal action and assists in preparation of monthly and quarterly reports. Incumbent is also responsible for ensuring that all collateral is protected and documentation is current.
Job Requirements, Duties, Functions:
- Contacts delinquent borrowers verbally and in writing to collect loans ensuring accordance with FDCPA procedures.
- Documents the servicing system with all notes regarding collection efforts and maintains individual files for all legal accounts.
- Monitors all late charge notices to ensure accuracy.
- Assists with legal actions, loss mitigation; workouts and foreclosures.
- Assists with asset classification.
- Compiles monthly statistics concerning number of accounts in collection, amounts collected, amounts that remain to be collected and coordinates and compiles monthly departmental summaries to be reviewed by management.
- Inputs all homeowners and flood insurance policies into the servicing system and prepares necessary letters for cancellations, expirations and renewals.
- Recommends forced placement of insurance when insurance is cancelled or not maintained.
- Maintains all vehicle titles ensuring that collateral is protected.
- Responsible for ensuring that all UCCs are filed and maintained.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience Required:
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in mortgage and consumer loan collections is required.
- Must be skilled at negotiating repayment arrangements with customers ensuring adherence with FDCPA standards.
- Must be an excellent communicator with good listening skills in order to resolve a debtor’s problems.
- Strong computer skills including Excel, Word and Power point.
- OSI system knowledge is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for leading the Bank’s marketing, public relations and advertising efforts to support customer and market retention and growth strategies of each business line. Work with senior management and vendors to develop and implement strategies for increasing the public’s awareness of the Bank’s brand, value proposition, products and services. Direct accountability for daily functions including coordinating vendor activities and delivering marketing, advertising and public relations materials on time, in compliance with all regulations and with high quality.
Job Requirements, Duties, Functions:
- Develop and lead implementation of Bank’s annual marketing strategy, plan and budget.
- Direct and coordinate activities of advertising, media buying and public relations agencies.
- Lead, participate in and direct development of all marketing materials including advertisements, press releases, brochures, merchandising displays, and internet website and social media presence with attention to deadlines and budget.
- Write copy for press releases, advertisements, brochures and editorials. Review and edit copy written by vendors.
- Collaborate with other managers, manage and oversee Bank’s event sponsorship and charitable contribution activities to assure alignment with marketing strategy and Bank goals.
- Assist in research and development of new products and services.
- Perform market research and analysis including customer satisfaction surveys/intelligence.
- Develop and maintain marketing performance and effectiveness tracking measures and reports.
- Develop and lead implementation of marketing campaigns and sales promotions.
- Ensure all marketing materials and media are in compliance with Federal and State regulations.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience Required:
- Broad public relations, advertising and marketing experience.
- Experience analyzing demographic and psychographic market segmentation data and applying analysis to development of marketing strategies and tactics.
- Banking product/industry experience preferred.
- Highly organized and capable of multi-tasking.
- Technologically informed.
- Excellent writing and verbal skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent qualitative and quantitative analytical skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or better.
- Five years’ experience preferred.
Senior Mortgage Specialist builds community relationships and referral sources in assigned territory, counsels customers on product selection, takes applications, and monitors and ensures the progression of the application to closing. Networks to develop business. Self-manages marketing efforts with financial support from Bank.
Required: Knowledge of all applicable compliance regulations. Ambitious, independent, self starter. Understanding of secondary market guidelines. Minimum of 2 years of loan origination experience.
Commissioned position. Must have an established book-of-business. Bank is seeking home lending business in the counties of Hartford, Litchfield, Tolland and northern New Haven and northern Middlesex.
