The Simsbury Bank offers three types of checking accounts. All of them feature:

  • Free Bill Pay
  • Free 24-hour telephone banking
  • Free ATM transactions at other banks1
  • Optional overdraft protection. (Choose between establishing a line of credit [credit approval required] or having needed funds automatically transferred from a Simsbury Bank savings account [limited to 6 transfers per month].)

  • Monthly service charge of $5.00* (may be waived if you maintain a minimum balance of $500 in the account or a combined balance of $2,500 in this and a Savings or CD account)

Our most popular checking account, with the money-wise features our customers told us they value most

  • No minimum balance requirements
  • No monthly service charges
  • Free first order of checks (50 checks)
  • Free unlimited check writing

Senior Interest Checking >

Something extra for customers 55 and over

  • Pays interest on all balances
  • No minimum balance requirements
  • No monthly service charge
  • Free basic checks (blue wallet style)
