Fixed Rate Mortgages

Adjustable Rate Mortgages (ARMs)**

  • Adjustable Rate Mortgages often have a lower initial interest rate than longer term mortgages.
  • 1-year ARM: rate adjusts annually
  • 3, 5, and 7-year ARMs: fixed rate for the initial period, converting to a 1-year ARM thereafter

Construction Loans

  • Pay interest on only the amount you have borrowed as you build
  • Automatically converts to a permanent mortgage upon construction completion
