Important Change to Mobile Deposits
All checks deposited through the Simsbury Bank mobile app must be endorsed with the additional language of “For Mobile Deposit Only at SBT” under the customer signature line. This additional endorsement will ensure that your checks are deposited conveniently and quickly through our mobile banking app. The banking regulation prompting this change was implemented July 1, 2018 to prevent mobile customer deposits from being inadvertently presented at another financial institution after being deposited using a mobile app. We sincerely appreciate your anticipated cooperation with this regulatory requirement and look forward to serving all of your banking needs.
