Simsbury Bank is pleased to announce that Jocelyn Mitchell, SVP, Business Development & Relationship Management Department Head, graduated from the Quest Program sponsored by Leadership Greater Hartford.  The graduation ceremony was held on October 24th where 49 Hartford-area professionals completed the Quest 2018 program.

Martin Geitz, President and CEO of Simsbury Bank, said, “Jocelyn has proven herself to be an excellent leader in our organization, heading up our Business Development and Relationship Management department as well as marketing and a myriad of projects.  As the Bank continues to grow and evolve, she will have even more opportunities in which to take leadership roles, and the tools that the Quest Program offers will help her to continue to be highly successful.”

“I appreciate the opportunity to continue to grow as a leader and to work with individuals from such diverse backgrounds and industries to achieve a common goal,” said Jocelyn Mitchell.  “I enjoyed the Quest program experience immensely, and am extremely proud of the advancement my taskforce made in  broadening existing summer internships programs for Hartford area youth.”

The Quest Program offers a unique, experiential approach to leadership training.  Over the course of ten months, participants engage in workshops on topics such as communication, leadership styles, collaborative decision making and problem solving, plus field experiences, and individual coaching focused on advanced leadership practices.  A key element is the community impact project – a leadership learning laboratory – that provides vital experience and exposure to the region’s assets and challenges.  More information about the program is available at
